How to Get to Lake City

Driving
Lake City is located in the San Juan Mountains of
southwestern Colorado, about 55 miles south of
Gunnison on State Highway 149, and 74 miles north of
South Fork.  

Airports
The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC)
offers car rentals and is served by American Airlines,
United, and United Express (more airline services are
available in the winter months).  The Montrose Regional
Airport (MHT), about a two-hour drive away, offers car
rentals and is served by Continental Airlines, American
Airlines, and United Express.
